Cross-cultural Communication Region [in En, Ja]

IJAI Cross-cultural Communication Region is a division of IJAI that handles research and fieldwork related to intercultural exchange. This English site introduces “each of the IJAI activities in Japan using Japanese language” in English, and also covers the Cross-cultural Communication Region as a whole where we carry out the activities in English or other languages.

This Region is engaged in the following research and activities, mainly with members of the IJAI headquarters and each branch, and students from the eight departments of Nihon University College of Art where Iwasaki teaches and conducts research.

Research and activities related to the British art critic and social activist John Ruskin (interactions and participation with The Guild of St George, The Ruskin Museum & Research Centre in Lancaster University, The Ruskin Library of Tokyo, The Ruskin Society of Tokyo, The Ruskin & Morris Center of Osaka, and Studio-L Inc.)
